Genevieve was the co-founder of culTOURa from 2006 to 2009. culTOURa specialised in organising events and excursions based on local culture, inspired by the incredible folkloric festivals that take place in Catalonia.
Traditions such as human castles, fire devils, giants and big-heads are some of the amazing things that happen on a daily basis in Catalonia. The project aimed to give travellers the opportunity to experience unique and cultural rituals that would otherwise be inaccessible. Initiatives included private and small group tours to Catalan cultural festivals and large group excursions for univeristy students to different parts of Catalonia and Spain, as well as hands-on group workshops exploring Catalan culture.
